Holmes County Commissioners have approved a proposal for a renovation project at the Holmes County Courthouse. The roughly $860,000 project will involve a much-needed facelift for the courthouse’s clock tower. Commissioners say the cost is more that what they originally thought, but that the renovation is something that needs to be done sooner rather than later. Work, which could take up to six months to complete, is expected to begin in the spring.
