The Cloverleaf Local School District is joining three other districts in Medina County in opposing the NEXUS pipeline’s request to have its tax evaluation lowered. Nexus is asking the Ohio Department of Taxation to lower its evaluation by nearly 50%, which would greatly reduce the amount of money that each district receives from the pipeline. As it stands right now, Cloverleaf is set receive nearly seven and a half million dollars in pipeline money, while Medina, Buckeye, and Wadsworth would all get between one and a half and two million dollars.
