The Cloverleaf Local School District is no longer requiring its students to wear masks.  Starting next week, face masks will be optional for students, following a vote last night by school board members to rescind the district-wide mask mandate.  Moving forward, rather than requiring masks, all of the district’s buildings will operate under daily student absence rate thresholds.  If more than 6 percent of a building’s students are absent for three straight days due to COVID, that building will be subject to a mask mandate for at least 10 consecutive school days. The requirement would only be lifted once a building’s COVID absence rate dropped back down below four percent.
