School board members with the Cloverleaf Local District recently talked about potential changes to policies related to student’s release time for religious instruction.  Cloverleaf’s superintendent says the potential policy change stems from recent discussions he has had with parents regarding House Bill 445 and LifeWise Academy, an organization that works to bring Bible education into local school districts.  In the end, the board decided to move forward with an idea that would ensure students did not miss their core curriculum courses for religious education.  Students would also not be permitted art, music or physical education.
