The College of Wooster has been awarded a $475,000 STEM grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The institute announced late last month that 104 colleges and universities had received more than $60 million worth of grants through its IE3 initiative. Wooster will team up with 14 other schools from all over the country, including Cleveland State University, to develop professional development resources and opportunities for faculty and staff that address effective inclusive teaching. At Wooster, the grant will support faculty learning communities on inclusive research mentoring.
