A former College of Wooster grad will be back in Wooster Monday to give a lecture as part of the activities planned for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Davis Houck, who graduated from the College of Wooster in 1985, will give a lecture titled “Emmett Till and the Origins of the Civil Rights Movement” at the First Presbyterian Church on College Ave. The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. A dinner sponsored by the Wooster-Orrville NAACP will precede the lecture, and tickets for the dinner will cost $8.
