Communities stepping up efforts to limit large gatherings at parks

Local communities are reminding residents that while outdoor areas remain open, many activities at those places are either unavailable or being limited in an effort to discourage large groups of people from gathering together.  In Wooster, wooden boards have been placed over the city parks’ basketball rims, while playground equipment has been covered with yellow caution tape.  Wooster, Orrville and Rittman police have also begun increasing their patrols of parks to make sure that the people who are there are practicing safe social distancing.
