Construction is underway for a new visitor center at Loudonville’s Mohican State Park.  The center will be located near the campground’s entrance off of State Route 3.  The new building, which is scheduled to be finished and open to the public by sometime late next year, will feature a central exhibit space, a merchandise area and staff support rooms.  The $3.6 million visitor center will be open year-round for the park’s roughly one million annual guests.
