Council members in Wooster have agreed to set aside an additional $250,000 to fund the city’s transportation program for the remainder of the year. Initially, the city had allocated $300,000 for the entire year, but the program has been so popular that only $75,000 of that amount was left by the end of June. The city estimated that without the additional money, the program’s funding would have run out by the middle of September.
