The County Line Historical Society of Wayne & Holmes Counties will be hosting an event later this month about money and some of the things that replaced coins as currency during the Civil War. The event will take place on Saturday, August 19th, beginning at 1pm, at the Shreve Presbyterian Church. The event is free and open to the public.
