The court battle between an Ashland County Restaurant and the Ashland County Health Department continues. Cattleman’s Restaurant in Savannah was shut down earlier this year after the Health Department received complaints about servers in the restaurant not wearing masks despite a health order signed by Governor Mike DeWine. The restaurant was ordered closed after an inspection showed the complaints had been justified, but the shutdown was lifted shortly after following a court order. Despite the restaurant’s license being reinstated the court process continues to move forward, with the restaurant’s owner Mandy Close and Health Commissioner Heather Reffett set to appear virtually in Ashland County Common Pleas Court again next week.
