The City of Medina and Medina County Commissioners are moving forward with the joint courthouse project. The two sides agreed on the $38 million dollar project on Tuesday, and will now hire a construction manager at risk, with a preconstruction cost of just over $149,000. The project would see Medina County Courts move into a new portion to be built, while the 1969 portion would be demolished, then Medina Municipal Court would move into the iconic 1841 portion. The city of Medina would pay $8 million towards the project.
