Wayne County residents who are 80 or older can begin receiving their COVID-19 vaccine shots next week.  Vaccinations will begin Tuesday at a number of different locations, all of which will be by appointment only.  The Wayne County Health Department will be administering the vaccine at its headquarters in Wooster, along with Wooster Community Hospital and Aultman Orrville Hospital.  Appointments can be made either online or by phone.  Anyone 65 and older can sign up, but again, only those 80 and over will be vaccinated next week.  The vaccine will also be available in Wooster at Discount Drug Mart and Marc’s Pharmacy.  Appointments at either one of those locations will need to be made by phone.  Regardless of where people go though, health department officials are asking residents to please be patient, as the county has only been getting around 200 doses per week, on average.
