Following a two-year hiatus, a math professor at the College of Wooster is back online to give his high school football predictions.  Professor Drew Pasteur’s website Fantastic50.net uses various math formulas to predict the outcome of every game in the state, all season long.  The site, which is free to use, also ranks teams and analyzes each school’s playoff chances.  The 46-year old had run the website for 12 years before stepping away from it for health-related reasons in 2020 and 2021.  First, Pasteur came down with COVID, and then his wife was diagnosed with cancer.  Feeling stronger now, and with his wife’s cancer in remission, Pasteur decided this summer to re-launch his site.  He says he is happy to be back, and by tweaking his formula a bit, his predictions should be more accurate than ever.
