COW professor named new president of national theatre organization

A professor at the College of Wooster has been chosen to serve as the new president of the American Society for Theatre Research.  Professor Jimmy Noriega, who teaches theatre and dance at the college, will begin his three-year term as president in October.  The organization, which was founded in 1956, works to provide scholarships for students majoring in theatre, while also serving as a connection to other groups represented in the International Federation for Theatre Research.
