The Clark Community Center held a classic car cruise in and chicken barbeque event on Sunday, hoping to use the event as one of many fundraisers for the community center. The hope for the money raised through the cruise in, which saw over 40 classic cars show up, is to help do some upkeep on the community center’s grounds, as well as adding a sand volleyball court plus adding tetherball to the existing playground. The Clark Community Center Board of Directors also has other fundraisers planned throughout the summer, including a fishing tournament in August and will hold its first auction in September.
