Daily Record altering annual high school awards show, due to coronvirus

The coronavirus is forcing the Daily Record to change the format for its annual awards show that honors the area’s best high school athletes. The in-person awards show was originally scheduled for June 12th, but will now take place as an online event that can be viewed beginning at 6pm, on June 18th. The new format will feature more than 20 professional athletes serving as award presenters, including Drew Brees, Venus Williams and Jackie Joyner-Kersee. The awards show will be available to watch, free of charge, on any smart device by either going to Youtube or the Daily Record’s website.
