The Dalton Local School District’s Board of Education has approved a back-to-school plan for students this fall. The plan calls for students to return to the classroom five days a week, although an online option will also be available for families who don’t yet feel comfortable sending their kids back to school. The district says 82% of the parents it surveyed, and 77% of the students, wanted a return to in- classroom learning. As of right now, students will be required to wear facemasks, but that could change.
