Dalton man killed in motorcycle-semi crash

A two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon in Stark County claimed the life of a Dalton man.  The accident took place around four o’clock at the intersection of State Routes 172 and 193.  According to the Highway Patrol, 27-year old Zachary Weaver was killed when his bike collided with a semi whose driver failed to yield the right of way at the intersection.  Weaver was pronounced dead at the scene.  The crash remains under investigation.
