The Stark County Diaper Bank has a new name, and with it an extended service area. In celebration of its new name, The Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank will be hosting several diaper drives this month, including here in Wayne County. One of the drives will take place this weekend at the Dalton Dariette. Hours will be noon to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Diapers are also being collected this month at Community Action Wayne/Medina and the Rittman Food Pantry. The diaper bank provides support to families in six different counties, including Wayne, Stark and Medina. Since being formed three years ago, the nonprofit has been able to hand out nearly 700,000 diapers.
