Residents in Holmes County can get ready to pay more for a dog license.  On Monday, the county’s board of commissioners agreed to a $2 increase, in an effort to help the Holmes County Dog Warden’s Department and Adoption Center keep up with its expenses and administration fees.  According to the county’s dog warden, the rate hike brings Holmes county more in-line with what other counties are charging.  The new dog license rate, along with an increase in boarding fees, will take effect immediately.
