Doylestown man arrested for stealing packages in Summit County

A Doylestown man has been arrested in Summit County on theft charges related to stealing packages off people’s porches. Charles Dempsie Jr was arrested this week in Green after a search of his hotel room uncovered various items including diapers, clothes and masks, all items which had been reported stolen off people’s porches in the southern part of Summit County. Dempsie was arrested on outstanding warrants for aggravated drug possession, probation and parole violations. Dempsie now also faces a charge of theft and additional charges are pending.
