A local teenager will be part of the National Spelling Bee this weekend. 13-year old Andrew Yeager of Doylestown will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee on Saturday. The soon to be 8th grader won the Akron Regional Spelling Bee in March to qualify for the national bee where he will compete against 209 other contestants from across the country. The 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee will be a virtual event this year, until the in-person finals are held at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
