The reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors are looking into a physical altercation that occurred between forward Draymond Green and guard Jordan Poole during a team practice on Wednesday.

According to reports, Green and Poole got into a shouting match that escalated to Green throwing a punch at Poole and making contact.

Green, a four-time NBA champion and four time All-Star, has been described as the emotional leader of the team and has been an integral part of the Warriors championship dynasty.

Poole was not injured by the punch and Green later apologized the following day to Poole.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers was present for the apology, along with head coach Steve Kerr and other members of the organization, and stated that he does not anticipate Green will miss any games with a suspension after the altercation.
