The city of Wooster is doing some maintenance work at Schellin Pond.  A pump was set up last week to lower the pond’s water level, so that dredging could begin next week.  With the water level lowered, the city will also be able to repair a leak near the pond’s discharge pipe that is causing an erosion issue.   Once all the work is done, the city says it will raise the water back to its normal level and restock the pond with a variety of different fish.
