The East Holmes Local School District’s board of education has approved a $1.7 million contract for the renovation of a new property that will house the district’s central office and bus garage. The land is located right across the street from Hiland High School’s Reese Center and includes a building that will be renovated to fit the district’s needs. The district purchased the nearly two-acre lot back in December for $750,000. According to district officials, the project is expected to be completed next spring.
