The jury in the retrial of Erica Stefanko reached a verdict Wednesday afternoon. Stefanko has been found guilty of both aggravated murder and murder for making a bogus pizza delivery call that lured Ashley Biggs to a New Franklin business in June 2012, where she was murdered by Chad Cobb, Stefanko’s husband at the time. Cobb is currently serving a life-sentence for the murder of Ashley Biggs. The 41-year old Stefanko, of Rittman, was convicted of aggravated murder and murder in November 2020, but that conviction was later overturned on a technicality.
