December Craft Kit for Teens @ the Central Library.
Pick up a craft kit with supplies to make an Ugly Christmas Sweater Ornament.
 
Creating the Carol – Tuesday, December 3rd @ 5:30pm at the Central Library.
Chris Hart presents a first person narrative account of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, and explores the real-life character and setting inspirations for the yuletide classic. Registration is required.
Storytime @ the East Branch on Wednesdays @ 10:30am, December 4th & 11th.
Ages 2-5, with an adult, are invited to join us for stories and activities.
Get Crafty with Kate! – Thursday, December 5th @ 6pm at the Central Library.
Make a holiday craft with OSU Extension Services Educator Kate Shumaker. Registration is required.
Storytime @ the Central Library on Fridays @ 10:30 am, December 6th & 13th.
Kids ages 2-5, with an adult, are invited to join us for stories, songs, and rhymes!
Little Learners Playgroup @ the Central Library on Fridays @ 11:00 am, December 6th & 13th.
Kids up to age 5, with an adult, will engage in activities to promote reading and social skills. Snacks will be provided.
Book Quest Club – Holly Jolly Reads! on Tuesday, December 10th @ 5:30pm @ the Central Library.
Families with kids ages 6-12 will explore a variety of holiday-related books for gift ideas, and will make a holiday ornament. Registration is required.
Ten Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s, on Thursday, December 12th @ 5:30pm at the Central Library.
Jay Regallis, a volunteer & community liaison for the Alzheimer’s Association, will educate us on how to watch for signs of Alzheimer’s. Registration is required.
Paws to Read @ the Central Library on Saturday, December 14th from 11am – 12pm.
Kids are invited to read to a certified therapy dog from Caring Therapy Canines.
 
Winter Break Fun, December 26th, 27th, 28th, 30th & 31st during business hours at the Central Library.
Youth can stop by the children’s room to create a different craft each day, play board games, and build with LEGOs or magnetic tiles!
Family Movie Matinee @ the Central Library on Saturday, December 28th @ 11 am.
We’re showing “The Wild Robot”, rated PG. Bring a comfy chair or blanket, snacks, a drink with a lid, and enjoy the show! Children must be with an adult.
