Speaker Deb Kitko first became interested in genealogy in 1986 and graduated from the University of Akron in 1995 with a B.S.B.A. in marketing with a minor in Spanish. She graduated from Kent State University with a M.L.S. in public librarianship in 1998. Receiving OLC certification as a public librarian in 2001 and re-certified 2006 and 2011. Also, certified as a genealogy librarian in 2003 by the National Institute for Genealogical Studies. She is currently working on certification in Methodology. She was employed with the Akron-Summit County Public Library from 1986-1998. Having been in Genealogy Librarian with the Wayne County Public Library since 1998. Public Welcome and No Admission Fee. Social distancing will be practiced and any other mandates given by the governor.
