Tots and Tales Ages birth-2 | Tuesdays and Thursdays June 6-July 27 from 10-10:20 a.m. Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Children ages 0-2, accompanied by an adult will enjoy books, songs, active rhymes, lap bounces and group play during these story time sessions.

Feed Me a Story Ages 3-5 | Wednesdays June 7-July 26 from 11-11:30 a.m. Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Story time for children accompanied by an adult. Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and more!

Coding with Ozobots Ages 8-12 | Sat. July 1 from 10-11 a.m. Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Join us and learn about Ozobots! Ozobots are little robots that are designed as an introduction to coding. You’ll use color combinations to move the Ozobot on a path from one location to another.

Kids’ Pie Eating Contest Ages 6-12 | Mon. July 3 from 10-11 a.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. How fast can you eat a pie without using your hands? Test your extreme eating skills by entering our pie eating contest!

Origami for Beginners Ages 6-12 | Wed. July 5 from 2-3 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. With a few simple (and not-so-simple!) folds, we will be turning sheets of square paper into beautiful works of origami.

Teddy Bear Sleepover Ages 2-12 | Thurs. July 6 from 3-4 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Bring a stuffed animal to a storytime and leave it behind for a sleepover throughout the weekend! The library will post photos on our Facebook page so you can see what your stuffed animal gets up to! Return by July 10 to pick up your stuffed animal along with a collage print.

3D Designs: Keychain Ages 8-12 | Fri. July 7 at 10 a.m. or 3 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Learn the basics of 3D design before creating a personalized bookmark of your own. Prints will be ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after the program date. Limit 1 session per person.

Interactive Movie Night Ages 3-12 | Tues. July 11 from 5:30-7:30 Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Join us while we watch a movie about an average girl who wants to save the magic that lives within her home and family (PG). We will also be decorating our own donuts from Peace Love and Little Donuts! Other snacks will be provided.

Kids’ Cookbook Book Club Ages 3-12 | Wed. July 12 from 1-2 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Do you enjoy cooking? Looking for a new and exciting recipe? Choose a recipe from the book that we’ve selected, make it (with help from an adult) and bring it in to share. Our cookbook for July is American Girl: Around the world cookbook by Nicole Gerulat.

Stop in, relax, and enjoy playing board games with your family. We’ll have a life size version of Sorry, a game called Shoot the Poop, Super Mario Uno and more!

You will work with magnifying glasses to get an up-close look at the lives and habits of worms. Presented by Mad Science of Northeast Ohio.

Decomposers Ages 6-12 | Fri. July 14 from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Take some worms, add some food scraps, and what do you get; fertilized soil and a whole lot of fun! This program breaks down the science of decomposition and reveals the work of worms and other decomposers. Presented by Mad Science of Northeast Ohio.

Mario Kart Tournament for Kids Ages 8-12 | Sat. July 15 from 10-11 a.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Do you have what it takes to be a Mario Kart champion? Test your driving skills at our double elimination tournament.

Pringles Building and Spicy Chip Challenge Ages 6-12 | Wed. July 19 from 2-3 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Can you build a 3D circle with a can of Pringles? Do you love all things spicy? Join us for an afternoon of STEM challenges!

Realm of the Reptile Ages 3-12 | Thurs. July 20 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Join reptile expert Andrew Dubina as he shows and discusses his menagerie of critters that crawl and slither. You might get a chance to interact with a large tortoise, lizards, and s-s-snakes!

Ceramic Animal Planters Ages 3-12 | Fri. July 28 from 12-1 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 1; call us at 330-854-4148. Come and paint a mini ceramic animal planter and plant a tiny succulent inside!

Sensory Exploration Ages birth-5 | Thurs. Aug 3 and 17 from 10-11 a.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 17; call us at 330-854-4148. Children with a parent or caregiver will move through different stations that build fine and gross motor skills. This program is designed for parent or caregiver and child interaction with hands-on activities. Stations may include materials that are messy or wet.

Mini Golf All ages | Fri. Aug 4 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Registration is required for this event and begins July 17; call us at 330-854-4148. Choose your tee-time and do your best to get a hole-in-one in the library’s literary themed 5-hole course. The course should take 15-20 minutes and tee-times are every 15 minutes.
