Tots and Tales: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Children ages 0-2, accompanied by an adult will enjoy books, songs, active rhymes, lap bounces and group play during these story time sessions. Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 3rd-April 27th from 10-10:20 a.m.
Feed Me a Story: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Story time for children ages 3-5, accompanied by an adult. Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and more! Wednesdays January 4th-April 26th from 11-11:30 a.m.
Wintery Bingo: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Join us for an evening of hot chocolate and bingo! For grades k-5. Thursday, January 5th from 6-7 p.m.
Teddy Bear Sleepover: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Bring your favorite stuffed animal and join us for a pajama night! Leave your stuffed animal behind for a sleepover and look for it on our Facebook page to see what everyone got up to throughout the night! Come back for pick up and a photograph starting January 13th. For ages 0-12. Tuesday, January 10th from 6-7 p.m.
DNA, Strawberries and You!: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. We’ll be learning about (and seeing) DNA using strawberries! You’ll also have the opportunity to create your own edible version of a DNA strain. For grades k-5. Thursday, January 12th from 6-7 p.m.
Diverse Designs: Multicultural Art: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Join us every month as we discuss an artist from a diverse background and create our own art work motivated from the artists style. This month we will discuss the artist Marc Chagall. Recommended for ages 3 and up, adults welcome! Friday, January 13th from 5-6 p.m.
Mason Jars Luminaries: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Using the library’s Cricut and frosted vinyl, we’ll create a snowman themed luminary with mason jars. For grades k-5.Thursday, January 19th from 6-7 p.m.
Canal Boat Celebration!: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Travel back to a different time, a time when canal boats reigned supreme. Join us as we learn about the early 19th century though, games, crafts, snacks and of course, canal boats! Recommended for children ages 3+. Saturday, January 21st from 10-11 a.m.
Interactive Family Storytime: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Story Enjoy stories, songs, and sensory play during this family friendly story hour. January’s theme is transportation. All ages are welcome. Wednesday, January 25th from 6-7 p.m.
Lego Free Play: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. If you build it, they will come! Use your engineering abilities to make marvelous Lego creations. Try and create the most unique Lego creation you can think of. For grades k-5. Thursday, January 26th from 6-7 p.m.
STEM for Tiny Hands: Registration is required for this event; call us at 330-854-4148. Children with the help of a parent or caregiver will use their tiny hands to explore S.T.E.M. and activities. This program is filled with hands-on activities that include materials that may be messy or wet. Children ages 2-5 with caregiver are welcome.
