Friends of the Library Fall Program

Marcy Campbell, local author of middle-grade and children’s books, will highlight this year’s Friends of the Library annual meeting on October 27, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Wooster Library meeting room.
The program is free and open to the public. However, due to COVID restrictions, admission is limited, and registration is required. Call the library at 330-262-0916 or go to the library’s website at wcpl.info to sign up online.

Campbell will share her journey as a writer, from her earliest days of drawing pictures and pretending to be a librarian, to becoming a picture book author. Her presentation will also explore the process of how she goes from a vague idea to a published book, while addressing some of the common misperceptions about the publishing world.

Her presentation will follow a brief business meeting of the Friends of the Library.
