Winter Reading Program – January 2nd – March 2nd Choose Adult, Teen or Children’s, and read for a chance to win prizes! Registration is required. 

Storytimes @ the Central Library – Fridays @ 10:30am, January 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th.  Kids ages 2 – 5, with an adult, are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes & more! 

 Little Learners Playgroup @ the Central Library – Fridays @ 11am, January 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th. Kids up to age 5, with an adult, will engage in activities to promote reading and social skills. Snacks will be provided. 

 Storytimes @ the East Branch – Wednesdays @ 10:30am, January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st.  Kids ages 2 – 5, with an adult, are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes & more! 

Storytimes @ the Killbuck Community Library – Tuesdays @ 10:30am, January 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th.  Kids ages 2-5, with an adult, are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes & more! 

Nutrition 101 – Central Library, Monday, January 8th @ 6:00pm Jackie Kaufman, registered dietician nutritionist at Pomerene Hospital will discuss popular diets. There will be a door prize drawing for a Kinetics massage gift card. 

 STEAMkids Club – Central Library, Tuesday, January 9th @ 5:30pm School-age kids will make a light maze and solve the law of light reflection. Registration is required. 

Paws to Read – Central Library, Saturday, January 13th @ 11:00am-12:00pm Kids are invited to read to a certified therapy dog from Caring Therapy Canines. 

Author Gregg Olsen – Central Library, Friday, January 19th @ 6:00pm This New York Times, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal award-winning author has been a guest on dozens of national and local television shows, including educational programs. Hear the story behind “Justice for Ida” when Gregg Olsen, discusses his recently released book “The Amish Wife”. Registration is required. 

Sasquatch Seekers – Central Library, Monday, January 22nd @ 5:30pm. Ages 10- 15 are invited to explore the world of Bigfoot. Is he real or just a myth? Create Bigfoot pictures and receive some Bigfoot swag! Registration is required. 

 Bluey Wackadoo Day – Central Library, Saturday, January 27th @ 10:00am Join us for a fun day enjoying all things “Bluey”, with games and crafts. Registration is required. 

Adult book discussion, January 30 @ 1 pm – Central Library reading “The Bear and the Nightingale” by Katherine Arden, and @ 6pm @ 6 pm –  Jitters Coffee House reading “At the Coffee Shop of Curiosities” by Heather Webber.
