August Craft Kit for Teens available at the Central Library or East Branch Pick up a themed kit to create a back-to-school positivity pouch.
Inspirational & Amish Romance Author Visits @ the Central Library – Thursday, August 10th from 2:30pm – 4pm; Meet authors Amber Renee Williams & Serena Miller, discuss their work and browse books available for purchase.
Inspirational & Amish Romance Author Visits @ the Central Library – Friday, August 11th from 10:30am – 12:00pm; Meet authors Molly Jebber, Willard Carpenter & Sarah Price, discuss their work and browse books available for purchase.
Inspirational & Amish Romance Author Visits @ the Central Library – Saturday, August 12th from 10:30am – 12:00pm; Meet authors Jennifer Spredemann & Shelley Shepard Gray, discuss their work and browse books available for purchase.
Paws to Read @ the Central Library – Saturday, August 12th from 11 am – 12 pm. Kids are invited to read to a certified therapy dog from Caring Therapy Canines.
Kids Nerf Night @ the Central Library – Wednesday, August 14th @ 6pm. School-age kids will play Nerf games, with Blasters and darts provided, and enter a drawing to win a Nerf Blaster. Registration and permission slips are required.
Lunchtime Lowdown @ the Central Library – Tuesday, August 15th @ 6pm. Join Kate Shumaker, OSU Extension Services Educator, as she presents options to pack safe, healthy, and delicious lunches that are cost and content controlled. Registration is required.
STEAMKids Club @ the Central Library – Tuesday, August 24th @ 6pm. School-age kids will work in teams to engineer a rollercoaster. Registration is required.
Book Discussion for Adults – Tuesday, August 29th @ 1pm – Central Library – discussing “Horse” by Geraldine Brooks, and @ 6pm – Jitters Coffee House – discussing “Hello Sunshine” by Laura Dave. Books are available to borrow at the Central Library.
