Storytime! @ the East Branch – Wednesdays @ 10:30am, September 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th Kids ages 2-5 with an adult are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and more!
Storytime! @ the Central Library – Fridays @ 10:30 am, September 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th Kids ages 2-5 with an adult are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and more!
Little Learners Playgroup @ the Central Library – Fridays from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, September 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th Kids up to age 5, with an adult, will engage in activities to promote reading and social skills. Snacks are provided.
Paws to Read @ the Central Library – Saturday, September 9th, from 11 am – 12 pm. Kids are invited to read to a certified therapy dog from Caring Therapy Canines.
Flower Arrangements 101 @ the Central Library – Saturday, September 9th @ 10 am. Join Rachel Pendlebury from Gable Crest Gardens to learn the basics of fresh flower arranging, then try your hand at creating an arrangement to take home. Registration is required.
STEAMKids Club @ the Central Library – Tuesday, September 12th @ 5:30 pm. School-age kids will learn how to code a Sphero Robot. Registration is required.
Family Movie Matinee @ the Central Library – Saturday, September 16th @ 11 am. Join us for the Super Mario Bros Movie (Rated PG), on the big screen! Movie-related crafts will be available for the kids and snacks will be served. Registration is required.
Making Jerky! @ the Central Library – Tuesday, September 19th @ 6pm. Join Kate Shumaker, OSU Extension Services Educator, as she shares the process of making jerky and some of the different flavors and styles. Registration is required.
Family LEGO Night @ the Central Library – Monday, September 25th from 5:30 – 6:45 pm. Families are invited for some Lego building fun!
Book Discussion for Adults – Tuesday, September 26th @ 1pm – Central Library – discussing “Last Bus to Wisdom” by Ivan Doig, and @ 6pm – Jitters Coffee House – discussing “Cutting for Stone” by Abraham Verghese. Books are available to borrow at the Central Library.
