Hunger for Knowledge – FREE Educational Seminar – Exploring Urban Agriculture
Persophenea’s Giving Plate, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is working to reduce food insecurity rates in Wayne County through education and providing nutritious meals. Over the past few years, the organization has served over 5,000 meals to the local community.This year, in collaboration with the Wooster Community Center, PGP is offering a free educational series called Hunger for Knowledge. The series aims to educate the public on smart shopping habits, nutrition, and urban and traditional gardening. All seminars are free and open to the public. The Seminar that we will be hosting on April 13th is Exploring Urban Agriculture The community is encouraged to attend the upcoming events, which will take place at The Wooster Community Center (241 S Bever St, Wooster, OH).
