Smithville Community Historical Society Open House

The Smithville Community Historical Society will have an Open House on Sunday, September 20th, from 1:30 to 4:00 P.M. All buildings will be open to the public. The feature of the day will be an antique car show coordinated by the Greater Akron Model-T Club. This will take place at the Mishler Weaving Mill-Heritage Center site in the north end of Smithville. The group will be doing a take-down, reassemble demonstration a couple of times during the afternoon. Anyone with an antique Model-T or other old Ford vehicle is encouraged to bring your vehicle to exhibit it. Other classic cars are welcome also. There is no entry fee—just come and display your vehicle for enjoyment! Any questions, please contact this number: 330-621-8364. Other special events include music by Barb Mast, Norma Trotter and Friends at the Pioneer Village area and a vintage baseball game across the street from the Pioneer Village, which will start at 2:00 P.M.
