Solar Gravitational Pull

Solar Gravitational Pull
WHEN:January 31, 2020 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
WHERE:9877 Alabama Ave. SW

Most people think that our night sky doesn’t change very much except for the different constellations visible as seasons come and go. For the most part, that is true, but everything in our solar system moves due to the gravitational pull of the Sun. These movements are responsible for many events that can occur including meteor showers, eclipses, close pairings of the planets and more. Come and hear Phil Hoyle’s annual preview of these events that will occur in 2020. Join TWC Astronomy Club for their program with their meeting following.
