Governor DeWine has signed the state’s health order regarding contact and non-contact sports. The order states that sports can go forward this fall, with restrictions in place for the safety of all involved. Athletes and coaches must do symptoms checks before all games and meets, and any athlete with symptoms must stay home. Athletes and coaches who travel on a bus must wear a facemask. Spectators also must wear a mask during events, with stadiums having one way exits and entrances. Capacity will be limited to 1500 for outdoor and 300 for indoor. Families attending games should sit together but distanced from other families.
