A fire yesterday morning at a saw shop in Wayne County’s Milton Township caused an estimated $450,000 in damage. The fire was reported at around 9am, at Maibach Saw Shop, on Eby Road. Multiple departments remained on the scene for several hours battling the blaze, and despite Sunday’s strong winds, were able to keep the fire from spreading to some nearby buildings. A Go Fund Me account has been established to help the saw shop’s owners try and recover. The cause remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
