Fire at Lodi restaurant prompts arson investigation

A fire at a restaurant Sunday in Lodi has prompted an arson investigation. The fire was reported at Pearl’s Café on Bank Street in Lodi shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday. The State Fire Marshals office is among those that are investigating the cause of the blaze, and stated they believe that foul play may be involved in the start of the fire.
