Fire officials are now saying the Farmer Boy Restaurant is likely a total loss following Friday night’s fire at the popular Wooster eatery. While its official investigation of the blaze is still underway, the State Fire Marshal’s Office says its initial findings show the fire to be an accident. A GoFundMe account has been set up for the restaurant’s employees, with a goal of raising $20,000. As of this morning, area residents have donated more than $3,400 into that account.
