Fire-Dex in Medina, which specializes in making boots, gloves and turnout gear for firefighters, will be making medical gowns and chemical resistant coveralls for healthcare workers and first responders once the designs are tested and validated to meet CDC requirements. Fire-Dex continues to work with the federal government and Fire Equipment Manufacturers Association on how it can be most efficiently utilized during the pandemic.
