A fireworks display congratulating area high school seniors will be held this weekend at Dragway 42 in West Salem on Saturday. The event was spearheaded by a Northwestern High School parent who wanted to do something nice for graduating seniors. The public is welcome. More than $5,000 was raised for the display. The gates open at 8 p.m. and the fireworks begin Saturday at 10 p.m.
