Former 100-meter world champion and three-time Olympic medalist Tori Bowie has died at the age of 32, her management company said Wednesday.
World Athletics, the sport’s governing body, also announced Wednesday that Olympic medalist Calvin Davis has died at the age of 51.
Bowie won gold (4×100-meter relay), silver (100m) and bronze (200m) for the U.S. at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
Davis won bronze in the 400-meter hurdles at the 1996 Atlanta Games and was part of the U.S. team that won 4×400-meter relay gold at the 1995 World Indoor Championships in Barcelona.
