A former Wooster city firefighter who was fired earlier this month is appealing is termination. Brandon Hewitt was fired November 1st after being accused of abusing sick leave and other violations. Hewitt was a 13 year member of the department and president of the firefighters local. In filing his grievance, he hopes to retain his job and receive back pay and benefits.
