The former Franklin Township Elementary School will be going on the auction block later this month.  The 81-year old building, which closed its doors back in June, will be auctioned off on September 21st, along with a large number of items inside the building, such as lockers, tables and books.  There reportedly will be no minimum bid for the building, which sits on five acres of land off Moreland Road.  Triway Superintendent Nate Schindewolf says revenue from the auction will be used to solidify the district’s general fund.
