Holmes County’s Auditor says that a new sticker has been applied to most gas pumps around the county. The intent of the sticker is to inform the consumer of how much a gallon of fuel is taxed by the state. Ohio raised the state tax on gasoline back in July by 10.5 cents per gallons and by 19 cents per gallon for diesel. The fuel tax proceeds go towards maintaining roads and bridges across the ” Buckeye State “.
