The selections are in for the MLB All Star Game and the Cleveland Guardians will be well represented in this year’s contest.

3B Jose Ramirez, 2B Andres Gimenez and RHP Emmanuel Clase have been named to the American League All-Star Team by Major League Baseball on Sunday evening.

Ramίrez, 29, has enjoyed a historic first half, batting .290 (88-for-303) with 29 doubles, 4 triples, 17 home runs, 50 runs scored and 66 RBI in 80 game

Giménez, 23, is having a breakout season, batting .299 (70-for-234) in 2022 with 11 2B, 2 3B, 9 homers and 40 RBI in 72 games.

Clase, 24, currently leads the American League in saves (19-for-21) and owns the seventh-lowest qualifying relief ERA in the American League to date (33 games, 35.1IP, 23H, 6ER, 6BB, 39SO). He has limited batters to a .178 average against and has yielded just 1 run allowed over his last 21.0 innings
