Glitch leads to more than 3,000 uncounted ballots in Wayne County

A glitch in the Wayne County Board of Elections voting system left more than 3,200 ballots uncounted when unofficial numbers were posted for last week’s primary election.  The board is not commenting on how much of an impact the uncounted ballots will have on the primary’s races and issues.  All of the uncounted ballots will be included when the official results are certified later this month.
